Haydn Turner Campground

Located on a peninsula in west Queen Charlotte, Haydn Turner Campground is the only municipally owned campsite in the Village. Upgraded in 2016 the site boasts old growth spruce trees, black shale beaches and a panoramic view of Bearskin Bay. With two beach walk-in tent sites and six drive-in forest sites the nightly fees are $15 and $20 respectively (GST Included). The campground does take reservations on Site #1 and Site #2, but the others are first come, first served. Fees are collected daily.

The facility includes:

  • 6 drive-through sites $20 per night
  • 2 walk-in sites $15 per night
  • Tent platforms, fire pits, picnic tables and benches
  • Centrally located outhouse
  • Potable water spigot (April-October)
  • Fee Collection Drop Box
  • Firewood delivery available upon request
  • Information Board
  • Walking trails

  • Sani-pump station on Oceanview Drive between 5th & 6th Street
  • Coin Operated Laundry services at the Laundromat in the City Centre Building at 117 Oceanview Drive
